i’m donna renee

 I was named after my aunt, Donna who died of leukemia as a child. The name Donna means lady. My Aunt Donna never had the opportunity to grow into a lady. My mother gave me the middle name Renee, meaning reborn.

This is why I created Lady Reborn Art. I may not be what you’d expect when you think of the word lady. I am certainly not afraid to get dirty and my hair is always quite a mess. But I don’t sweat the small things and I live for each day…. as some never could.

In my work, I dive headfirst into the chaos and beauty of human emotion, employing vibrant colors and textured layers that reflect the complicated tapestry of mental health. My portraits serve as a mirror for our collective experiences, depicting the intensity and nuance of feelings that often go unspoken.
