Dreams of Wonderland is only 5 years old but my story starts in England. I have always been a fan of fandom so I wanted to make costumes to cosplay my favorite characters for Halloween and parties. I had grown up watching my Aunty sew and alter clothing and by the 90s, I had badgered her enough that she taught me. And with the fancy dress came the matching purses and bags.
After my move to America in 2015, I was gifted a sewing machine for Christmas, and it inspired me to start sewing again. It started with bags and accessories for friends and family, but I ultimately decided to start my own business, Dreams of Wonderland, in 2019. I landed on the name by combining my two favorites: Alice in Wonderland, and daydreaming. Since then, my business has grown to the success it is today and my brand can be found across the states.
Whether you find me online or at the local farmer’s market, one thing is certain, my bags are that of a dream.
